I recently was invited to sample the new menu at Scotty’s Brewhouse along with about 50 other people who are active in social media in the Indianapolis area. It was a great night and the staff was on it!
Scotty kicked things off with a quick talk on his vision for the new menu. He’s moving toward getting back to the basics and part of that meant cutting down the menu to focus on what they do best at Scotty’s Brewhouse - burgers, wings, dill chips and good brews.
Each new or improved menu item was introduced and then samples were passed out. In addition to the samples a full size order was also brought out and placed on a table in the center of the room for pictures. Attendees were encouraged to take photos and share via Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc. Talk about a great way to market your new menu and restaurant - invite Indy’s top social media peeps, give them free food and encourage them to share!
Here was my favorite item of the night - Pistol Pete’s Pretzel Sticks with beer cheese sauce. I mean, how good do those look!
